Original Irish landscape painting in Acrylic inspired by the dramatic cloudscape
This theme of dramatic stormy skies is one I return to again and again in my art. I just love the energy and elemental feel of a storm approaching. I saw this scene on a hillwalk and just had to paint it. I loved how the stark white skeleton of the trees and the white gable end of the house contrasted against the dark purple of the storm clouds.
